Jess Xerri, M.S.W., L.L.M.S.W. is a limited licensed clinical social worker that specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Jess’s professional interests encompass anxiety, depression, ADHD, couples,  interpersonal struggles, stress management, trauma, and perinatal mental health.

Jess takes an integrative approach that is influenced on mindfulness practices, as well as person-centered and cognitive-behavioral theories. Her approach varies from client to client as everyone’s needs are different. Outside her modalities of choice, she acknowledges each person in their environment and seeks to understand how their systems (family, school, culture etc.) influence their understanding of themselves and their environment. She aspires to create a nurturing environment where clients can openly explore their challenges and find ways to navigate life’s complexities.

Jess’s educational journey began at Kalamazoo College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology & Sociology. Building on this foundation, she went on to earn a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jess enjoys various forms of movement, reading, spending quality time with loved ones, and exploring her culinary skills through cooking. Her diverse interests and personal experiences undoubtedly enrich her approach to therapy and commitment to helping others achieve mental wellness.
