Tanya Petcoff, M.A. is a limited licensed psychologist, who brings a wealth of knowledge and passion in providing excellence and making a difference in the lives of others. For over a decade she has works successfully as a psychotherapist with young adults, teens and children. Previously, she was a full time staff therapist at the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine. Tanya has also worked as advocate in the State of Michigan as a fighting voice for children and adolescents in need of mental health services and special education accommodations.
Tanya’s areas of specialty include ADHD, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, mood disorders, organizational skills, self-esteem, issues related to young adults and adjustment issues. .
Tanya received her graduate training at Boston University School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class from the mental health counseling and behavioral medicine program. Tanya completed an internship at Boston Medical Center’s Children’s AIDS program. Tanya completed clinical training at the Boston Medical Center. Tanya received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and graduated with departmental honors in psychology. Tanya is professional member in the American Psychological Association.
