Natalia Miegoc, M.S.W, L.M.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has served in various settings, including homes, schools, and communities. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, personality disorders, parenting concerns, and ADHD.
Natalia believes in being adaptive to the needs of her clients and strives to make therapy strength-based and client-centered. She works closely with her clients to ensure they are an integral part of their therapeutic success and that they feel empowered when working on their specific goals and objectives. Natalia utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based treatment, motivational interviewing, play and art therapy, trauma-focused therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention.
Natalia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. Then went on to graduate school to receive her Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Wayne State University. Natalia is passionate about continued professional development and self-improvement. In her free time, Natalia enjoys practicing hot yoga and meditation, hiking, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
